Boy, 4, badly hurt after being hit by car

A FOUR-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Hillmorton.

It happened on Hillmorton Road shortly before 3.15pm yesterday (Thursday).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The boy was assessed at the scene and was found to have no serious injuries.

“He was immobilised in case of a potential spinal injury and was taken to University Hospital in Coventry for further assessment and treatment.”

No further details were released.
