ROCK giants Skid Row and Ugly Kid Joe are the latest world-famous bands to come to Rugby.

The Wednesday October 23 co-headline gig takes place at The Vault, the smallest venue on the bands' 29-date European tour – and possibly the smallest that either band will ever play.

The bands, with combined sales of millions of albums, enjoyed worldwide chart success in the late 80s and early 90s.

Led by founding members Rachel Bolan, Snake Sabo and Scotti Hill, Skid Row will play the best from their catalogue of gold and platinum albums and anthemic singles like Youth Gone Wild, Monkey Business, I Remember You and 18 & Life.

They will also showcase tracks from their new mini-album United World Rebellion Chapter 1.

Having reformed in 2010 with founder members Whitfield Crane and Klaus Eichstadt, Ugly Kid Joe are embarking on their first full European tour after a run of successful festival dates in 2012. The band will mix new material from forthcoming album Stairway To Hell with classics such as Cats In The Cradle, Neighbor, Milkman’s Son and 1992 number three hit Everything About You.
