A WOMAN was grabbed by three men as she walked down a pathway in Butlers Leap.
She was walking through the cut-through from Boughton Road to Brownsover at around 6.30pm when she passed three men.
One of them asked her for a cigarette, but she said she did not have any.
As she walked away one of the males grabbed her from behind and twisted her arm behind her back, while another attempted to snatch her handbag.
She managed to escape and ran away. Nothing was stolen in the attack on Friday.
The three men are described as approximately 16 years of age, two were of mixed race with one wearing a black baseball cap, a hoodie with the hood up and baggy trousers.
The third male was white and was wearing a white cap, a black hoodie and black track suit bottoms with “Voi” written on them in white.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area on Friday evening and who saw anyone matching these descriptions, or who saw anything suspicious at around 6.30pm.
