The cast of Wycliffe Drama Group’s panto Cinderella (s)
CLASSIC children's tale Cinderella will be the 20th annual panto by the Wycliffe Drama Group.
There will be the usual rousing songs, slapstick humour, and larger than life characters with not one but two pantomime dames; the ugly sisters Beryl and Cheryl, played by Dickie Wood and Russ Crooks.
Rhiannon Edwards takes on the title role, Beth Cunningham plays the Prince and Pat Knight stars as the Fairy Godmother.
The cast also includes Imi Hornsby as Dandini, Andrew Spencer as Buttons, Keith Parkin as Baron Hardup, Becky Harwood as Lady Devillia Hardup, Julian Mitchell plays Snitch, Jim Knight as Snatch, Lauren Crooks and Alison Wood, who share the role of Dumpling, and is made up with several youngsters.
Directed by Simon Maher, It will be staged Lutterworth College from January 23 to 25 with performances at 7.30pm nightly and a 2.30pm matinée on the Saturday.
