Rugby Triathlon Club member Tamara Hardman, took to the European stage last weekend (May 10th) and gained third place in her age group in the Ironman 70.3 race in beautiful Mallorca.
More than 3000 competitors from around the world, of which about 750 were women, took part in the event which comprises a 1.9k swim, a 90k bike and 21.1k run. Tamara posted a time of 5:16:03.
Over the same weekend but in different and very challenging weather conditions three members took part in the Grendon Triathlon, an open water event in Northamptonshire. This race comprises a 750m open water swim, a 20k bike and a 5k run.
