Cricket:
T20 fun for youngsters to enjoy

By Wednesday 10 July 2013 Updated: 10/07 12:29

WITH the Ashes set to dominate the sporting world over the next few months, cricket-mad youngsters in Rugby and the surrounding area will have chance to emulate their cricketing heroes at a series of cricket camps being staged during the school holidays.

Following on from the success of their holiday courses at Whitsun, Twenty20 Cricket Company will again be staging Cricket Camps at Willoughby CC, with two courses lined up in the coming weeks.

Dates of this summer’s Twenty20 Cricket Camps are July 22 to July 26 and July 29 to July 30.

Each day runs from 10am to 4pm and consists of a variety of coaching, fun games and activities, all rounded off with a ‘Twenty20’ style game in the afternoon and awards presentation at the end of the day, all overseen and managed by ECB-qualified CRB-checked coaches.

As with the successful Whitsun holiday course, the courses are designed for boys and girls aged five to 15, and parents can book for either the whole two or four day courses, or individual days which suit.

Costs are £70 for the four-day course, £40 for the two-day course, or just £20 per day.
