Hi: 12° Lo:6° 7 day

The Wrestling Association of Rugby will be back in action this weekend (s)
THE Wrestling Association of Rugby (WAR) latest fight night takes place on Saturday (September 7).
After a series of sold out shows across the Midlands, the superstars of WAR will do battle at Lawrence Sheriff School with the feature attraction of six bouts being their first tag team ladder match.
Tag team champions Clarkewood have been forced to put their titles on the line against the incredibly popular Ocean Brothers.
The belts will be hung 15ft above the ring and the only way to win will be to climb the ladder and retrieve them.
Newly crowned WAR Heavyweight Champion Xander Cooper – now flanked by his two giant bodyguards Axel Bowen and The Executioner - will be taking on his former friend and number one contender The Spindoctor.
Also in action will be crowd favourite Xander as well as some of the best wrestling talents from across the UK including The Bird of Prey’ Falcon, The Judge and B52 Lance Corporal.
Tickets are on sale by calling or by emailing . They cost £6 for adults, £5 for under 15s and a family of two adults and two children is £18. Doors open at 6.30pm with bell time at 7pm.
