YOUNG rugger players from a town grammar school are gunning for glory in the NatWest Cup today (Thursday).

While rugby fans are gearing up for the start of the Six Nations on Saturday, Lawrence Sheriff's under-15 team are concentrating on their last 16 fixture away to Langley School in Norwich, which kicks off at 1.30pm.

The Sheriff team fought through to the last 16 out of 71 teams which entered the NatWest U15 Cup Midlands B area round.

Teams progress via knockout through several area rounds. The eight area winners then progress via knockout through Quarter Finals and Semi Finals, with the Final being played at Twickenham.

Find out how they got on by checking online or looking in next week's Rugby Observer.
