JUNIOR Simpson is to make his debut at the Benn Hall's Comedy Night.
Simpson's stand-up career has included performances at the Hammersmith Apollo and Edinburgh Playhouse, while he has become a familiar face on television, with appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Armstrong and Miller Show and Top Gear.
A regular at London's Comedy Store, where he contributes to the Cutting Edge team, Simpson's comedy career has gone global, with performances in Australia, South Africa, India and the Middle East.
And he headlines in Rugby on Thursday, May 8 with support from BBC Three sitcom Ideal writer Tony Burgess and Brennan Reece, who won the Sky talent show Don't Stop Me Now.
Jim Smallman, an Edinburgh Festival regular, comperes the evening.
