A LADY Gaga fan from Rugby was left almost speechless after her husband arranged a surprise backstage meeting with the superstar singer.
Becki Caulton said she was still in shock after her husband Byron lined up the meeting for her 40th birthday.
The meeting took place at the UK opening night of Gaga's ArtRave tour at the Birmingham NIA earlier this month
The Victoria Avenue resident said: “Meeting my idol last night was just out of this world.
“It was the third best day of my life, beyond meeting and marrying my husband and having my daughter.”
Legal secretary Becki, who has been a fan since the New York singer's 2008 debut single Just Dance, said she was drawn to her uniqueness and creativeness.
“She's such an incredibly humble person,” said Becki. “She brings so much to people, and helps people who have had difficulties with things like their sexuality or bullying.”
“I found her remarkably down to earth, humble and very easy to talk to, and she had a wicked sense of humour. I was expecting to be completely starstruck but I surprised myself!”
Becki spoke to Gaga about her tour, current music, albums and much more.
“I was cheeky enough to ask if she would share any lyrics she was working on with me, but she said 'no, I've learnt my lesson – it's very difficult to keep secrets in this industry!'"
Becki took home a signed tour book and a photo of her and Gaga as mementos of her very special night.
“It was just an amazing experience,” she said.
“I have the best husband in the world – I owe him big time for this!”
