Hi: 12° Lo:5° 7 day

White Men Can't Funk drummer Daniel Teale and guitarist Andy Walker, and Hinckley and Rugby Building Society customer services assistant Jay Parmar promote this year's Rugby Music Festival.
SIXTEEN bands will play at Rugby Music Festival.
Thousands of people are expected to pack into Caldecott Park on Sunday, August 18 for what is the biggest free festival in the area.
The line up includes The Peerless Pirates, fresh from a heady appearance at Glastonbury, the talented Kristy Gallagher from Coventry, Rugby songbird Hollie Aires and town band White Men Can’t Funk, who headline by popular demand after an outstanding performance last year.
Also on the bill will be Liam Jarvis from Bradford who recently launched his solo career after earlier stints with One Day Remains and Sister Shaker.
David Head, one of the event organisers, said “We have to thank Hinckley & Rugby Building Society and Cemex for recent sponsorship.
“By picking up some of the event costs they’ve ensured another fantastic live music family event for anyone and everyone in Rugby.”
The full line up is at www.rugbymusicfestival.org.uk.
