A BOOK sale will be held by the Friends of St Cross in the Clock Towers centre on Friday and Saturday.
It will be held from 10am until 3pm each day.
The friends' hold a regular plant sale, but this is their first book sale.
Organiser Tony Cousins said "We already run a book stall in the outpatient department on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and this is raising valuable funds to help us continue our support of the hospital.
"We have a wide range of books in good condition both paperback and hardback so come along and grab a bargain in aid of our local hospital."
