RUGBY’S Jack Lewis become the first youngster to won the RS Tera Sport Inland Championship for a second time at Bewl Sailing Club in Kent at the weekend.

A total of 55 youngsters aged ten to 14-years-old competed and found sunny and breezy conditions to deal with on day one.

There were four races split across the day and Jack sailed well to win the last of them, giving him a one point lead overnight.

At lunch on day two, Jack sat level at the top of the standings with Ben Batchelor from the Isle of Man and the battle between the duo ended up going to the wire.

Jack kept calm and managed to win the final race, seeing him lift the title for the second year in a row.

The success completes a fantastic year for Jack that has seen him win all of the major UK events in the RS Tera Sport category to rank him first in the country.

Thanks go to Crewsaver for supplying all of his sailing gear, Vision Express for his Polaroid sunglasses and Optimum Time for his sailing watches.

Any sponsorship that will help Jack compete in the World Championships in South Africa will be greatly received. Email for more information.
