THE KASBAH is renowned for its holiday specials and this year will be no different as they have bagged the biggest line up of dance music artists the city has ever seen.
Helping music fans rave away their festive indulgence on Boxing Day will be DJs Maya Jane Coles, Danny Howard, B Traits and Hannah Wants.
Coles’ has already remixed acts such as Massive Attack and Gorillaz as part of She is Danger was recently ranked as the 15th most influential DJ in the world by Rolling Stone magazine.
Danny Howard is a previous winner of BBC Radio 1’s Superstar DJ competition before landing high-profile slots on the station and releasing his own album.
Canadian DJ B.Traits is another who will be well-known to Radio 1 listeners while Birmingham bass specialist Hannah Watts looks set to climb to the top level soon after building a regional fan base.
"One of the things that has been clear from speaking to our customers is that the loved last year’s dance-themed Boxing Day with a Faithless DJ set and they wanted more of the same," said Thanos Staikos, promotions manager at the Kasbah
"Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac has performed here in the past and put on an incredible show, which went down really well so we are hoping for more of the same."
This show is open to over-18s only. There are a limited number of early bird tickets are priced at £12 while the remaining advance tickets cost £15 and fans can pay £18 on the door, subject to availability. Doors open at 10pm and close at 6am.
