Hi: 10° Lo:3° 7 day

CHRISTMAS ‘fever’ will get underway at the Alan Higgs Centre this week thanks to a city charity.
Leading Michael Bublé tribute act ‘Bogus Bublé’ will get everybody ‘feeling good’ with a show at the centre in Allard Way this Friday (December 6).
The Bublé bash includes a three-course Christmas carvery along with the live performance, a disco, charity raffle, fully licensed bar, and special offers for members of Coventry Sports Foundation, which manages the centre.
“We like to put on special events at Christmas as a ‘thank-you’ to our members but also to give the local community opportunities to come together and celebrate,” said Mark Cooke, events and hospitality manager at Coventry Sports Foundation.
Closer to the big day, the Coventrian narrowboat will also serve a special three-course Christmas meal, on Sunday, December 15 and Friday, December 20, while guests enjoy a two-and-a-half hour cruise along Coventry canal.
Tickets for the Bogus Bublé are on sale now priced at £25 per person, £22.50 for members or £175 for a table of eight people.
Tickets includes a three-course meal, entrance to the Bogus Bublé show, which starts at 7pm, and post-show disco.
