RUGBY Town’s u21 striker Tom Rawlings picked up the Golden Boot for finishing as top scorer in the Midland Football Combination.
The superb achievement saw Tom score 46 goals from only 23 games with his nearest rival finishing one goal behind but having played 47 games.
Tom, who is part of the club’s partnership with The Strachan Football Foundation, was delighted with the award, saying: “I would like to say thank you to my coaches and team-mates who have helped me win this award.
“It has been an adventure as in pre-season I was dropped for a couple of games. I then started to train harder and was selected for a game scored five, and it has just gone on from there.”
